Has it started?

According to statisticsThe state produces nearly half of US-grown fruits, nuts and vegetables. Across the nation, US consumers regularly purchase several crops produced solely in California, which this will have a severe impact on the food systems in the United States, if not the world. Could this be the start of food disasters and the dismantling of food security in the states?

Folks need to start looking at how they live their lives, their food and energy consumption and make hard decisions by choice before they are forced to. Start easy by choosing to covert the kentucky blue grass in your yard to a food garden, getting a community garden plot, preserving food, etc. These are easy steps to take with big rewards that are helpful to the Earth, your pocketbook, and your health.
