A first

I guess there is a first for everything. Since the tea party has starting its march to world domination all they like to do is complain about the liberals spending spree, but I have to ask what do you expect from the party that openly admits that taxes and social programs are part of their stance? On the other hand the republican party prides themselves on fiscal responsibility, limited government, etc, but over the previous 8 years they acted more like liberals from a fiscal standpoint and more like dictators from a limited government viewpoint. Today however I heard the MN republican party leader admit that over the previous 8 years of bushship, they were hypocritical on both counts and have a long road ahead of them to get back to their roots which IMNHO includes dumping the religious right!

Wow, I didn't hear that. Maybe someone will start speaking the truth. Or is this just more posturing? I seem to recall Pawlenty saying something similar recently, which now that he's running for President is just posturing. He RAN the campaigns for Bush here in MN.

Also remember he is "balancing" our budget using "expected" funds from the feds. Now, that is real republican values there Plenty.

YES! I wholeheartedly agree. Don't wave your tea bag in my face and chant about less government, and then ask government to tell everyone who can and can't get married, what plants you can and can't consume and what our "national religion" should be. Coming from a socially liberal, fiscally moderate, legislatively conservative Demalibertariocrat - thank you for calling them out on their hypocrisy!
