What our city, county, and transit authority considers safe and lit enough. I took this one night coming home of the area where we have had a rash of attacks and the government refuses to do ANYTHING at all.

I was running a generator driven light on my bike and it is still too dark too be safe. That was the point, too get people to notice.

I'm a bit nervous riding home on the Greenway after bike rush hour but at least most of it is pretty well lit. I have little generator-driven lights on my hubs front and rear but still have two headlights and two tail lights just to make sure I can be seen.
Ride safe, it's a jungle out there!
I do lots of night riding, even during my commute now that we have changed the clocks. I avoid the dark MUPs for the well lit roads whenever I can.
